These earhangers, crafted from gold vermeil, garnet, and sunstones, are inspired by the raw passion of Georgia O’Keeffe’s love letter to Alfred Stieglitz.

Her words, brimming with longing and intensity, are embodied in inlays featuring motifs of a burning heart, a hand, and flowers, all tied together with the quote “the beauty of the intensity of you.” These elements serve as symbols of connection, passion, and the transformative power of love. The burning heart represents the all-encompassing fervor of longing; the hand signifies touch and creation, reaching toward the beloved; and the flowers evoke growth, fragility, and flourishing under love’s light.

Garnet symbolizes the fiery depth of desire, while sunstone reflects love’s radiant warmth. The designs capture connection, creation, and the transformative power of passion.

My goal was to create a piece that carries the raw, unguarded energy of O’Keeffe’s words, while also serving as an intimate reminder of the universal experience of love that moves us beyond ourselves. These earrings are not just adornments but wearable tributes to the consuming beauty of love.

Artist Bio

Anna was born in 1991 in Budapest, Hungary to photographer and art journalist parents. Growing up in an art filled environment inspired her to become an artist.

In 2009 Anna moved to Stuttgart, Germany in order to study fine art at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.

Anna wanted to present her work in a way that enabled more people to see and enjoy it, rather than to have it be confined in a four walled room. She found the answer in the combination of art and design, in the form of a special plastic on which she is able to intricately sketch her work.
After her fine art diploma she studied Jewelry Design at the Pforzheim University and now lives and works in Stuttgart, Germany.
