Statement Ring Class, Tuesdays, 6-8:30 pm, 4 sessions

Make a statement with your jewelry! In this class, students will learn the basics of metalsmithing, design, and more to create a hollow silver statement ring. Skills such as filing, sanding, soldering, and polishing will be covered, as well as forming, roller printing, and stone setting. Students will design and create their own statement ring during this four session class.

October 17, 24, 31 and November 7

Jeweler and metalsmith Gaby Alvarado will be teaching this class and helping students bring their pieces to life! Gaby graduated with a BFA in Jewelry/Metals and Graphic Design from the University of Texas at El Paso. She brings her many talents as a teacher, artist, and metalsmith to the studio.

Registration closes the Friday before the class start date. No experience is necessary. Must be at least 13 years old to participate. Participants must be able to easily go up and down stairs because our studio is in the basement.
