Artist Statement

Conceptual form finding on the one hand and the everyday on the other are the framework for my work as an artist, with playfulness being the most important driving force in jewellery. I am particularly interested in rows, abstract, minimalist shapes and the colorful-opulent per se. The focus in my ‘playground’ is the unbridled change with opposites in the formal language. Minimalist metal pieces and colorful plastic work alternate. Above all, everyday objects find a place in my work, whose pre-formed, typical or even standardized reality
challenges me and wants to be commented on, thereby releasing unimagined design possibilities.
