Statement Ring Class - Wednesday, May 2024, 6-8:30 pm, 4 sessions

Make a statement with your jewelry! In this four-session class, students will learn the basics of metalsmithing, design, and more to create a hollow silver statement ring. Skills such as filing, sanding, soldering, and polishing will be covered, as well as forming, roller printing, and stone setting. Students will design and create their own statement ring during this class.

Jeweler and metalsmith Gaby Alvarado will be teaching this class and helping students bring their pieces to life! Gaby graduated with a BFA in Jewelry/Metals and Graphic Design from the University of Texas at El Paso. She brings her many talents as a teacher, artist, and metalsmith to the studio.

Silver materials are included in the class price. No experience is necessary. Participants must be at least 13 years old and able to easily go upstairs and downstairs because our studio is in the basement.
