My work blends the traditional crafts of silversmithing, goldsmithing, enameling, engraving, and lacemaking with contemporary digital techniques like 3D rendering and laser cutting to create innovative, wearable jewelry. Through this fusion of methods, I explore the intersection of craftsmanship, technology, and personal expression—where the tactile meets the digital.
Inspired by art, science, and the natural world, I’m drawn to the beauty of pattern and form. I aim to bridge the historical and the contemporary, using time-honored techniques with forward-thinking approaches to make pieces that feel both rooted and modern.
Earlier in my practice, I focused on subverting the historical narrative of “women’s work,” especially the overlooked role of the lacemaker. I used this medium to assert identity and examine themes of gender, ritual, and the evolving relationship between past and present.
