Andrea Corson creates bold, one of a kind jewelry that defies expectations. Her wearable art is cast in sterling silver, bronze, and gold. Working intuitively, Corson sculpts directly in wax, to freely carve, drip, mold, write and manipulate, while incorporating unexpected shapes, textures, words and objects.

Each piece is hand-finished by Corson, revealing both raw and refined elements. Her work, is a dynamic interplay of form, color, function, drama, elegance, and humor, with meticulous attention to detail.

The earrings from her language series, in Earrings Galore, are at first glance abstraction, but the gestural handwriting reads specifically with curiosity and emotion, direct from the heart.

Andrea Corson has her BFA in sculpture from Syracuse University, and her MFA in sculpture from Cranbrook Academy of Art. She lives and works, making jewelry, works on paper, and sculpture, in New York City.
