In ancient Japan people sometimes worn “Cocoon’’ to expel evil spirits or bring in good
fortune.
The accessory represents the form of elusive “life’’ that dwells in the cocoon.
A sphere is contained in a round object that looks like an organism and is also contained
in a larger sphere.
There is a sign that something resides in the sphere.
Nesting structure calls up an image of mysterious, infinite,life and I expressed it airily
using see-through mesh for the sphere such that they look floating.

Stainless steel mesh is a very lightweight material and hence the accessory is not
weighty for a wearer.
Soldering increases mesh strength and spheres become less deformable.
It also enables nesting of spheres.

The technique of joining the mesh is soldering, which was done by trial and error independently.
Finally, acrylic resin coating is applied.
