Artist Bio:
Anzu jewelry unites fine art and jewelry design by transforming the designers unique hand drawings into unusual pieces of jewelry. Each illustration is carefully drawn by hand and set piece by piece into sterling silver.

From classical to contemporary, from casual to playful, each piece is unique and made for everyone who wants to brighten up their everyday life.

Anna Bánkuti, the designer behind anzu jewelry was born in 1991 in Budapest, Hungary to photographer and art journalist parents. Growing up in an art filled environment inspired her to become an artist. In 2009 Anna moved to Stuttgart, Germany in order to study fine art at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.

As an art student she wanted to present her work in a way that enabled more people to see and enjoy it, rather than to have it be confined in a four walled room. She found the answer in the combination of art and design, in the form of a special plastic on which she is able to intricately sketch her work.

Anna received her diploma in fine arts in 2015, studied Jewelry Design at the Pforzheim University and now lives and works in Stuttgart, Germany.
