Chelsea is the owner of the store, Hauden. The store name references the Haudenosaunee, or Iroquis Confederacy, which was comprised of five, then six, indigenous Nations. She is a member of the Oneida Nation, which is one of them. She asked me about collaborating to create a piece that was inspired by the Hiawatha Wampum belt and the Haudenosaunee Flag design that would contribute to the Six Nations Reserve community.
