Jay Leisner, known as The Surfgimp, designed the artwork for this necklace. In 2018, Jay passed away after 18 years of being confined to a wheelchair. Jay’s confinement was purely physical. Through his mind and heart, he created a community full of compassion, love, and fun. This community helped Jay catch waves on an adaptive surfboard. His wife, Melanie Leisner, now runs the Foundation and helps others like Jay attend adaptive surf events.
