Kate Meszaros, a middle school student at Sussex Academy approached Heidi Lowe to create a piece of jewelry for an organization that is close to her heart, the National Scoliosis Foundation (NSF). The NSF is a patient-led non-profit dedicated to minimizing the effects of scoliosis through early detection and treatment, public awareness, patient education and support, and research.

Diagnosed at the age of 11, Kate wants to bring awareness and help others who have the same diagnosis. Wearing the Curvy Girl Cuff invokes conversation around scoliosis and acts as a reminder of what the disease has taught her, to embrace challenges and always stay strong.

$50 from every purchase is donated to National Scoliosis Foundation.
