Artist Statement

Anna Maria Sikorska’s dual degrees in philosophy and art profoundly influence her worldview.
This combination of rational and creative approaches allows her to interpret her surroundings in a unique way, using contrasting forms, materials, and techniques.

Her recent works compellingly illustrate this perspective, drawing inspiration from the mathematical patterns found in nature, particularly those created by the passage of time and growth.

Sikorska considers jewelry as a form of applied art that closely interacts with the human body. Her creations invite discussions, encourage reflection, attract attention, and promote values that resonate deeply with her.

She is celebrated for her multidisciplinary approach, skillfully combining new technologies and materials with traditional crafts and silversmithing. This innovative fusion results in bold and colorful pieces that appeal to individuals across generations.

Furthermore, Ania is an enthusiastic science popularizer who enjoys exploring complex mathematical and philosophical concepts through her art.
