Artist Statement

“Sometimes a good argument is the best way to the truth” Alex Berenson

My jewelry straddles worlds- spicy, bold, and dripping with nuance. I’m an old soul with a wild side, torn between freedom and the occasional need to cross my legs and zip my lips. Through my pieces, I explore the complex interplay between self-expression and societal constraints, questioning not only sexual taboos, but also the broader philosophical implications of censorship in our lives. Cen sorship—whether imposed by society, institutions, government, or even by ourselves—shapes the boundaries of expression, often limiting the pursuit of authenticity and truth.

In my metalwork, I challenge these limitations, pushing the boundaries of what is deemed acceptable or appropriate. From removable “intimate” earring charms and ear cuffs to more symbolic designs, my work embodies the delicious tension between revealing and concealing. True freedom lies not only in the ability to express oneself, but also in the courage to confront all forms of suppression—be it political, intellectual, or personal.

Ultimately, my jewelry spreads love, celebrates living authentically, and embraces genuine connec tion. It entices you to explore your own boundaries, find the courage to express your truths, and chal lenge censorship—whether imposed by others or by the fear of leaving your comfort zone— leaving it up to you to decide when to take it off since it’s... A Lot to Handle.
