The photos I use do not have any social connection or special artistry. Neither do they contain a profound or in-depth story. This decision is based on a strategic reluctance to reveal too literally or frankly any object or situation whether at the moment of capture, at the moment of editing, or at the moment of visually and verbally discussing it. These tendencies are also connected to explain the abstract concept of memory images. The words such as image, memory, duplication, repetition, blunt, fade, remains, reminiscence, ..., are used to describe the ambiguity of images and provide various expressive elements.

IMPRINT is one of my archives that visually expand or condense the concept of these words having a connection.

The process of images being repeatedly copied or duplicated and the spatial forms they create by interlocking with each other shape the images of the past that people have. In the process, the images that are crushed and blurred take on an unclear form and try to provide a clear visuality.

This metaphorically implies that the images that remain in the mind are recalled, forgotten, and distorted repeatedly, and that they remain as beautiful as possible.

Humans inevitably face the concept of time in their lives. Kafka may be making contradictory statements, lamenting the finiteness of time given to himself and to each other.

The gap between time, place, and emotion may have made him even more desperate. This is also inevitable and cruel, but it also provides another form of notion.

The flow, accumulation, and disappearance of time that we experience overlap, transform, and solidify with the memories it leaves behind.

The form of time and memory that goes through this process leaves a record through their interconnectedness. Just as Kafka's numerous letters remained as a record of sympathy and inspiration to others, allowing them to share his space, time, and emotions.
